Stripes and Denim

It's been almost a month since my last blogpost, omg! Sorry for the lack of posts but I've been hustling and afterwards enjoying my vacation in the beautiful Southern Italy with my boyfriend and our friends and family. It's been incredible, so much stuff has been going on, from participating in historical reenactments to eating the best pizza ever to visiting new cities and places... It's so overwhelming, I think if I'd live here, I would always be in awe. And quite frankly, I didn't get a chance to sit down and write because it was and is much more rewarding to live in the moment. For the last two years, every time I go somewhere, visit a new city, I catch myself always prepared to post, write or Instagram everything but at the end, I never do it because it doesn't feel right. But it does feel so right to just sit at a gelateria and enjoy the best fresh fruit ice cream and admire the sunset over the sea with my boyfriend. Truly, no social media update can top that.
This post was meant to be done before I left for the warmer climate but I only now really decided to sit down and do it before going back to get some more gelato!

The story of me finally getting this shirt from ASOS is actually funny. When I first saw it on the site by the New In category, I immediately fell in love. As you have maybe already read on my post about slogan tees (if not, click here), you already now that I love them if they are relevant and fun. And this one is. It matches some of my own rules that I have before getting a slogan tee, like, I understand what it says, It has no grammatical errors, It is not too sarcastic that some people may not get it and well, it's striped. A dream tee come true! But - oh no - it was immediately sold out on Sale. So what did I do? Saved it in my Saved Items list and refreshed every day to see if it maybe has come back in stock. For some weeks I had no luck until one afternoon I was showing it to my mum how awesome it is and HEY! IT'S AVAILABLE! In 2 seconds it was mine. And I got it one size bigger for a more relaxed fit and not so cropped length.
And then the best thing to do was to create this total ASOS look by pairing the tee with this incredible denim skirt that my boyfriend got me and my favourite shoes ever.
I hope you will enjoy the pictures and the looks as much as I do! It was a really quick shot right before driving to the airport that would later lead me to the sunny Italy.

    1. Thank you, dear! I totally get you, before the vacation I was working a lot and when the holidays came I just didn't want to spend the entire time at the laptop.
